Philodendron Care Guide

General Information

• Some Philodendron are climbers, and some are trailing plants.

• Native to Central and South America.

• Fast growing plants that benefit from fertilizer in the growing season.

Soil

• Prefer chunky, well draining soil.

Water

• Water when top 1-2 inches of the soil is dry.

• The leaves are relatively vocal and will curl/droop

  when they need water!

Light

• Bright indirect light is best, although light requirements vary by species.

• Ex: a few feet back from a South or West facing

  window.
