Hoya Care Guide

General Information

• Hoya are famous for their adorable, aromatic, and diverse flowers.

• Native to Asia/Australia.

• Enjoy fertilizer during the growing season.

• Hoya send out long tendrils which then grow leaves and blooms. DO NOT CUT THESE OFF!

Soil

• Prefer chunky, well-draining soil.

• Hoya don't mind being root bound, so leave them in their pots for a while!

Water

• Hoya are a type of succulent, so they like to dry out completely before being watered.

• Soak soil completely through when watering!

• Will grow faster in higher humidity.

Light

• Enjoy bright indirect light.

• With more intense light, Hoya will sun-stress! This is when the leaves change color to a purple/red, and is not necessarily a bad thing!
